The rules, in plain terms
- Free for any site, commercial or personal, with no limit on page views.
- Keep the attribution link visible. It sits in the footer of every widget and is the only thing we ask in return.
- Do not present the data as your own analysis. It comes from public exchange feeds and our own calculations.
- No warranty. Market data can be delayed or wrong; do not build anything critical on it.
Why we do this
Two reasons, and we would rather state both. Widgets make our tools useful to people who will never visit this site, which is the point of building them. And each embed carries a link back, which is how a small independent project becomes findable at all. That exchange seemed fairer than advertising inside the widget itself, which we will never do.
