By using Preflight you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1. What Preflight is

Preflight is an information and calculation tool. It displays publicly available market data and performs arithmetic on numbers you enter. It is not a broker, exchange, custodian, investment adviser or financial institution. It does not execute trades, hold funds, or connect to your wallet or exchange account.

2. Not financial advice

Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Calculators, indicators, checklists and educational articles are general information only. They take no account of your circumstances, your risk tolerance or your obligations. Trading cryptocurrencies — particularly with leverage — can result in the total loss of your capital. Decisions you make are entirely your own, and you should consider seeking advice from a qualified professional licensed in your jurisdiction.

3. Accuracy of data

Market data is supplied by third parties. It may be delayed, incomplete, interrupted or wrong. Prices shown here can differ from the price you actually receive on an exchange. Calculated figures such as liquidation estimates are approximations that ignore fees, funding costs, margin mode, insurance funds and each venue's specific formula. Never place a trade based solely on a number displayed here — confirm it on the platform where you are trading.

We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

4. Your own records

Journal entries, portfolio holdings, notes and layouts are stored in your browser. We do not back them up and cannot restore them. Clearing browser data, switching devices, or using private browsing will remove them. If the information matters to you, keep your own copy elsewhere.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the site unlawfully, or in any way that breaches the terms of the data providers it relies on.
Do not attempt to overload, scrape at abusive rates, disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
Do not present Preflight as your own product, or use our name to solicit funds, signatures or personal information from others.

6. Third-party links

The site links to exchanges, news publishers and data providers. We do not control those destinations and are not responsible for their content, products or practices. A link is not an endorsement.

7. Advertising

Advertisements are supplied by third-party networks. We do not review, endorse or vouch for advertised products, and we have no involvement in any transaction between you and an advertiser. Treat every advertisement — especially any promising returns — with the same scepticism you would apply anywhere else on the internet.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Preflight and its operator are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, lost data, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site, whether or not we were advised such losses were possible. The service is provided "as is" and "as available".

9. Changes and availability

Features may be added, changed or removed at any time, and the service may be suspended without notice. These terms may be updated; the date above records the latest version.
